"Ready to Lead? No. Ready to Smear? Yes."

Well, it seems we were not alone in viewing the most recent pig SNAFU as a personal attack aimed squarely at John McCain's running mate Gov. Sarah Palin.

Team McCain wasted no time firing back with a video using the tagline: "Ready to Lead? No. Ready to Smear? Yes."

The video begins with "Sarah Palin on: Sarah Palin" and recounts her joke from the RNC convention last week; the video then switches to "Barack Obama on: Sarah Palin" that invokes a similar pig quip.

Gallup Daily: McCain Moves Ahead, 48% to 45%

John McCain Moves Ahead of Obama in Gallup PollPRINCETON, NJ -- The latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update shows John McCain moving ahead of Barack Obama, 48% to 45%, when registered voters are asked for whom they would vote if the presidential election were held today.

But as we all know, the presidential elections were not held today, so this poll means nothing; or does it?

Perhaps the biased media attacks on Governor Sarah Palin are starting to resonate with the American people; perhaps the Greek columns didn't have their intended impact on the American citizenry, despite their impact on MSNBC commentators. Perhaps the political tides are changing.

Only time will tell.

Bill Maher: MSNBC Ready to Have Sex with Obama

Posted by Stop-The-Attacks in MSNBCMedia AttacksBill MaherBarack Obama

Bill Maher thinks MSNBC ready to have sex with Bill MaherHis words, not ours. Bill Maher on MSNBC's convention coverage and commentary:

"I think there is a problem, though, with the media gushing over him too much. I don't think he thinks that he's all that, but the media does. I mean, the coverage after, that I was watching, from MSNBC, I mean these guys were ready to have sex with him....It's embarrassing..."

Bill Maher is not known for his love of Republicans, especially President Bush (don't let the picture fool you). So when left-of-center comedian-turned-pundit Bill Maher notices what the rest of America notices, Houston, we have a problem...perhaps we're not as crazy as some on the fringes think we are when we say media are in bed with Senator Barrack Obama.
