Stop the political attacks"Can You Hear Me Now? ...Good!"

If you are anything like us, you are probably tired of political attack ads comparing politicians to Britney Spears and exploiting little children while making their prank phone calls at 3:00am.

If you are anything like us, you are probably tired of the ad hominem onslaught levied against elected officials and their families.

If you are anything like us, you probably don't care that self-proclaimed "tattoo experts" have concluded that the soon-to-be son-in-law of Governor Sarah Palin had the tattooed wedding band permanently inked long before the announcement that Sarah Palin's daughter was pregnant (as reported by the Washington Post).

If you are anything like us, you are ready to take action and have come to the right place.

In the coming months, we will be putting America's political parties on notice; no longer will we accept their nasty tactics, negative attacks, and assaults on their opponents' families. No longer will we tolerate MSM (mainstream media) outlets running disgustingly biased covers of one candidate, while running a feel-good "down to earth" cover of the other. No longer will we watch MSNBC news (not that anyone watches it anyway).

StopTheAttacks.org serves as the bully pulpit where concerned citizens like you can get up on your soapbox and have your voices heard!

We'll be petitioning the political parties, launching a frontal assault on Congress via email, snail mail, and political advertisements; calling out the individuals who continue to engage in negative personal attacks. We're putting Washington on notice.

Can you hear us now? Good, because America deserves (and demands) better.

Britney Spears is a pop star the likes of which are rarely seen. She has been often compared to Madonna, whose own career got her a lot of publicity – both positive and negative. Britney and Madonna are great at stirring the pot to keep their exposure high, even if it is unintentional at times. Some measure of controversy surrounds them at all times, and that's not too likely to go away any time soon. Both Spears and Madonna get a lot of coverage in the blogosphere, and it works to their advantage in one way or another because it keeps both of them in the public's mind, and therefore in a prime position to sell lots of records and concert tickets at the right time. When it comes to pop stars, there are few that are of the same caliber as Britney Spears. The release of her new album, "Circus", really brings to mind just how "circus like" her life and illustrious career has been. With her career starting early in childhood, this girl has never needed a payday loan, much less anything else in life. Britney Spears reminds you a lot of Madonna--no need to explain who she is--the most popular and controversial pop artist of all time. The Attention that Madonna received, both positive and negative, is what likely makes her as famous as she is. People like following people in the news, especially those who tend to stir the pot. Britney Spears, like Madonna, can do just that and she does it very well. You probably remember Britney's wedding, or should I say lack thereof. It was a "married today, annulled tomorrow" type of wedding to a friend she grew up with. She also tends to put herself on display as most popular artists do. Sex sells and she knows it! From steamy music videos to half clad advertisements, she's using all the tools she's got in the tool box to make herself money. She has put out about four or five albums and has earned herself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. There is a good article giving a general outline of her journey to success.
